• Fast & Convenient: Walk up to the notary table together, present valid government IDs and a clean title, sign under oath, and finalize your transaction before driving off the lot.

Note: On-site notarization fees are paid directly at the time of transfer upon successful sale of the vehicle. Both buyer and seller must present valid photo IDs and an unencumbered title (or official bank lien release).

General Disclaimers & Requirements

• Valid Government-Issued Photo ID Required: Pennsylvania law strictly requires both the buyer and seller to present a current, unexpired, government-issued photo ID (such as a Driver’s License, State ID, or Passport) at the time of notarization. Expired or damaged IDs cannot be accepted under any circumstances.

• All Registered Title Owners Must Be Present: If the vehicle title lists multiple owners joined by "AND," all named parties must be physically present with valid photo IDs to sign the document.

• Do Not Sign Title in Advance: Pennsylvania titles must be signed and dated directly in the presence of the notary. Titles signed prior to arriving at the notary table are legally invalid for notarization and will be rejected.

• Active Liens Must Be Released: If an active lien is printed on the front of the title, an original, official Lien Release Letter from the financial institution (or an official cancellation stamp on the title face) must be provided before transfer paperwork can proceed.

• Right of Refusal: In strict compliance with state law, the notary must refuse service if proper identification is missing, if title documentation contains unauthorized alterations or cross-outs, or if any party appears under duress or incapacitated.

• Proof of Active Auto Insurance Required: Under Pennsylvania law, a vehicle cannot be issued temporary registration or driven on public roads without active auto insurance. Buyers must present current proof of insurance in their name before operating any newly purchased vehicle.

• No Unregistered / Unplated Driving: Executing a title notarization transfers ownership, but it does not grant permission to drive an unregistered or unplated vehicle on public highways. Driving a vehicle without a valid, legally assigned license plate and current registration is illegal in PA.

• Buyer & Seller Transportation Responsibility: Vehicles that do not receive immediate temporary registration on-site must be legally transported off the lot via licensed towing, flatbed transport, or legally transferred existing PA plates in full compliance with PennDOT regulations.

• Lot Operator Liability Waiver: Private Auto Market (PAM) provides an event space and access to independent third-party notarization services only. PAM assumes no responsibility or liability for how buyers transport purchased vehicles off the event premises or for non-compliance with state traffic, insurance, and licensing laws.

How It Works & On-Site Rules

1. Rent at Check-In: Grab a bucket at the PAM tent when you check in your vehicle.

2. Detail in Your Bay: Take the kit to your assigned seller spot and give your vehicle a quick touch-up before buyers start walking the lot.

3. Return All Supplies: When finished, return the bucket and all supplies to the main tent.

4. Single-Vehicle Use Only: Rental kits are assigned exclusively to your registered vehicle space. Sharing or transferring rental buckets/supplies with other sellers on the lot is strictly prohibited. 

5. Non-Refundable: DIY Detail Bucket add-ons are 100% non-refundable. Equipment is limited and chemical inventory is reserved and set aside specifically for you; failure to pick up your bucket during the check-in window will result in forfeiture of the rental fee.

Deposit, Identification, & Rental Fees

• Rental Fee: $25 flat fee per event.

• Security Deposit Requirement: A valid U.S. Driver’s License must be held at the PAM tent during your rental period.

• License Return: Your driver's license is returned instantly upon returning the complete bucket kit.

• Replacement / Damage Fee: Failure to return the bucket kit, or returning damaged/missing core items, will result in a $100 replacement charge billed directly to the payment method on file, and your driver's license will be held until resolved.

Managing Expectations: What We Can (and Can't) Do in 20 Minutes

Our pro detailers pack a serious punch in a short window. You’ll be amazed at the dramatic transformation we can pull off in 20 minutes—turning a daily driver from dirty and neglected into a clean, inviting, buyer-ready machine that looks and smells great on the lot.

However, because this is an on-site mobile speed clean with tight time limits, certain severe conditions require specialized shop equipment and multi-hour processing:

• Scope of Service: Our detailers will work aggressively during your allotted 20-minute window to deliver a massive visual reset, but severe conditions will be addressed only to the extent time permits. Refunds will not be issued for pre-existing heavy contamination that cannot be fully remediated within the allotted time.

• Recommended Pre-Market Service: If your vehicle has heavy mud, ground-in pet hair, severe carpet stains requiring hot-water extraction/steam, or neglected interior grime, we strongly recommend having it fully detailed prior to event day.

How It Works, Time Slots & On-Site Rules

• Early Arrival Window (7:00 AM – 9:00 AM): Express details are performed strictly during seller setup between 7:00 AM and 9:00 AM. Your vehicle must be parked in your assigned display spot by your scheduled time slot.

• 20-Minute Turnaround: The detail crew pulls up to your space, performs the service during your time slot, and leaves your car glowing before the 9:00 AM buyer rush.

• Strict On-Time Arrival: Express details are scheduled in tight, 20-minute windows between 7:00 AM and 9:00 AM. Your vehicle must be parked in your assigned display bay at or before your scheduled time slot. If you are late or your vehicle is not accessible in your spot, the detail team will be forced to move on to the next scheduled vehicle and your detail is forfeited.

• No Key Drop / Liability Policy: PAM and detail staff do not accept, manage, or hold vehicle keys. Sellers must either stay present with their vehicle during their early 20-minute slot or leave the vehicle unlocked at their assigned display bay entirely at their own risk.

• Clear Out Belongings Before Arrival: Please remove all personal belongings, gear, and trash from your cabin prior to your scheduled time slot. When an interior is cluttered, it is difficult for detailers to distinguish between wanted items and garbage. More importantly, moving personal items around burns valuable time—our detailers could spend your entire 20 minutes just clearing out clutter instead of actually detailing your car. Overly cluttered areas will simply be skipped so detailers can focus on detailing.

• Cabin First, Cargo Second: To maximize impact within your 20-minute window, detailers prioritize the primary passenger cabin. Trunks, truck beds, and enclosed cargo spaces will only be addressed if time permits after the main cabin is completed.

• Non-Refundable: All Professional Express Detail bookings are 100% non-refundable. Time slots are extremely limited (only 5 slots per detailer) and staff are booked specifically for your vehicle; missed time slots due to late arrival or no-shows cannot be refunded, credited, or rescheduled.

• Market Hours Schedule (9:00 AM – 12:40 PM): Services run in strict 20-minute windows with 5-minute transition buffers. Exactly 9 total slots are available per event on a first-come, first-served basis. 

• On-Site Clipboard Sign-Up: Book early at the main PAM tent upon arrival to lock in your preferred time! Visit the main PAM tent, pay directly, and select an open 20-minute time slot on our event day detail schedule.

• Dedicated Detail Bay Location: To prevent vehicle traffic inside pedestrian event areas, all Buyer and Public details take place at our Dedicated Detailing Bay near the main entrance/exit.

• Stay With Your Vehicle / Prompt Removal: Customers must bring their vehicle to the Dedicated Detail Bay at their scheduled time slot and remain present (or nearby) during the 20-minute service. Vehicles must be moved immediately upon completion so the crew can start the next scheduled appointment.

• No Key Drop / Liability Policy: PAM and detail staff do not hold or manage vehicle keys. You must operate your vehicle to and from the detail bay. If you step away from the bay during your 20-minute slot, you leave your vehicle unlocked entirely at your own risk.

• Clear Out Belongings Before Arrival: Please remove all personal belongings, gear, and trash from your vehicle prior to your appointment. When an interior is cluttered, it is difficult for detailers to distinguish between wanted items and unwanted items. More importantly, moving personal items around burns valuable time—our detailers could spend your entire 20 minutes just clearing out clutter instead of actually detailing your car. • Open to Everyone: Available to new vehicle buyers, lot visitors, and the general public on a first-come, first-served basis!
