• Do I need a dealer's license?
  Likely not, Private Auto Market is an outdoor event for private individuals selling their personally owned vehicles. Under standard Pennsylvania private-party transfer laws. Private individuals are generally allowed to sell up to 4 vehicles per calendar year without needing a dealer's license.

• Can I leave early if my car sells?

For the safety of pedestrians walking the lot, moving vehicles during general public hours must be done with the direction of gate staff for public safety. If you finalize a sale or need to leave early, please alert gate staff so we can escort your vehicle safely off the property. If you know you will need to leave early please alert the gate staff of this so they can provide you with a space suited to support this request.

• What if my car doesn't sell at the event?
  Talk to us and we can provide a courtesy 25% of your next registration code to try again at our next event. Your registration fee covers your lot space, spec sheet, and marketing exposure. While we bring buyers, final pricing, negotiation and sales are up to you.

• What if my vehicle sells before the event?

Congratulations! We offer a substitute Vehicle Policy. You can use your lot pass for a substitute vehicle at no extra charge. 

• Are trucks, SUVs, and motorcycles allowed?
  Yes! We welcome all street-legal cars, trucks, SUVs, and motorcycles with valid titles.

• What should I bring?

• Proof of Ownership: Title or lien payoff paperwork + valid ID matching the title.

• Vehicle Prep: Clean exterior/interior and enough fuel for potential test drives.

• Payment Readiness: Know your accepted payment methods (cashier’s check, cash at bank, wire transfer).

• Ticket Pass: Digital or printed Ticket Tailor QR code pass for gate scanning during staging (7:30 AM – 8:45 AM).
